Doggone...

It's an empty house without our ten year old dog pattering around, lunging at flies on the wing, or staring us down at mealtime. This photo is not his usual digs - but demonstrates the emptiness the space he fills.  Grateful to good friends of ours and his for inviting him to share their new house this summer!  We brought him over Monday evening and he totally knew he was going to stay there.  Yay, summer camp for Ranger!  House and dog sitters are already lining up in case J and W have to go somewhere in a hurry.  Now everyone is waiting for Oakland's heat wave to blow away.  Airport run will be within the hour.
