on a beautiful river running through the middle of town

with a falls a short distance down from the hotel. On the right side unseen is a walking bike path, well used by residents and us.

The road to Hintersee led us through more amazing countryside and mountain views.

The path wasn't crowded and some hikers wore traditional clothing.

The water was cold but we did see a couple of hardy swimmers - not us but it was tempting!
