Last Day in Croatia - but we made it a good one!

September 7, 2019 - One more day - how can we make it a great one?  Well today was a GREAT beach day so we spent the whole morning on the beach until after lunch time.

                                                                   

I wanted to catch a picture of the waterfall flowing from the upper to the lower salt water pool.  And of course, after that spent some time lounging.



Of course, no lunch needed after the beach because of the hotel's fabulous breakfast. What to do?  Go to the water park of course - I skipped the dipping here and played photographer.  The Park is part of our hotel complex and, except for us, populated by kids and their parents.  No matter, Eddie and Danny had a great time on the sides.

Danny had his hands up to go faster!

"Ed, put your hands UP!" he yelled at Ed.

Mate, our hotel manager comped our suppers on our last night and we totally enjoyed being treated.  We did go out again for a walk, as far as the end of the complex up to the water park but on the beach side.  Bands were playing, and people were enjoying the last of the day - the night was dark but there was occasional signs of a bright half moon.  A beautiful ending to a relaxing several days on the Adriatic Sea in Croatia.  I want to think we will come back.  We've been to many beaches and this one of the best.  It rivals Negril, Jamaica, Belize and Tel Aviv and is way better than where we have been in Hawaii.
